Yet, the hands behind these creations—India’s artisans—often remain unseen, unheard, and underappreciated.
At ArtisanShop, we are on a mission to change that.
We are building an exclusive platform that brings the finest handmade and handcrafted products of India to the world—starting with the culturally rich and craft-forward state of Rajasthan. Our curated collections are not just products; they are living testaments to skill, tradition, and resilience.
Where It All Began
Our journey began in 2007 in a small workshop in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Working closely with local artisans to create sarees, lehengas, and festive wear, we developed a deep appreciation for their skill and dedication. We saw the pride in their craftsmanship—and the challenges they faced. Low wages, limited access to markets, and lack of visibility kept these artisans from thriving.
That realization became the seed for ArtisanShop. What if we could build something more than a business? What if we could build a movement—one that honors tradition, empowers creators, and connects mindful consumers with meaningful products?

To preserve India’s handmade heritage while ensuring artisans are treated with dignity, paid fairly, and recognized globally.
We believe that every handcrafted piece is a work of art—and every artisan is an artist. Our mission is to provide these creators with more than income: we aim to provide them with opportunities, recognition, and long-term sustainability.
What Makes Us Different
🧶 From Villages to the World
We go where many don’t. Beyond urban workshops, we work directly in remote villages and underserved communities—especially with rural women who are often excluded from formal employment. With the support of organizations like BOSCH India Social Engagement, we've been able to train, support, and uplift hundreds of artisans across Rajasthan.
Today, our infrastructure includes:
- Modern sewing units in Mohanpura, Shrirampura, and Sitarampura
- A traditional block printing setup in Pawalia village
- Hand embroidery clusters spread across more than 10 villages
- A central coordination and quality control office in Mansarovar, Jaipur
Our operations combine traditional techniques with modern quality standards—offering the best of both worlds.
Our Process: From Design to Delivery
Bringing authentic handmade products to market requires not only creativity but also coordination. Here’s how we make it happen:
1. Design Development
Our design team collaborates closely with artisans to develop collections that reflect both contemporary trends and cultural authenticity.
2. Marketing & Order Generation
We showcase our collections through multiple channels:

3. Field-Level Coordination
Our local coordinators play a vital role. They connect directly with artisan clusters, manage timelines, distribute job work, and ensure that production runs smoothly—all while fostering a supportive environment for rural women artisans.
4. Quality Control
- Every stage is carefully monitored:
- Fabric inspection before and after dyeing
- Color and print alignment checks
- Measurement and stitching consistency
- Final finishing: removing loose threads, checking accessories, and careful packing
