India, the land of vividness and rich heritage are known for its Handicrafts. . Handmade and Handicrafts  of the nation are as fascinating and grand as of its tradition. Somewhere people feel that the incredibility of  handmade is not as glorified as it deserves. It is not that people in India are not passionate about creativity or handade; rather, it can be claimed that these things are not explored strategically as it should have been.

We at artisan shop can be the exclusive platform for the greatest collections of Rajasthan  Handmade and handicrafts. We are committed to bring the uniqueness of Rajasthani Handicrafts from very remote villages of the Rajasthan and many towns to you at one place. We can be your one-stop destination for incredible Rajasthan Handmade and Handicrafts products with the wide assortment of product offerings we have in store for you. We also help customers make the most of our appealing collection of Handmade products sourced from many qualified and unrecognised artisans specially from nearby Jaipur villages. 

Started our work way back in 2007 by starting small unit from Jaipur. Initially worked with handwork artisans for creating beautiful sarees, Langhas and other Indian party wear dresses. During the project, we learnt to respect artisans who were putting their handmade skills to make consumer feel good in their society. Artisan skill were making client special and precious while those attires. Really He/She deserves a lot than paying money for his/her creation. Dignity, Respect, Recognition are intuitively also very important to treat them like. Than we started exports of handmade articles such as block prints, Hand embroideries articles. 

We started to connect artisan handmade skill  with good designed products which increased their per unit value realization with good quality standards.

Gradually, we felt that reaching to village artisan where generally retailers are not able to or not interested to go. We took on challenges like road connectivity, easy transportation facility, male dominated society and started to train rural women with the help of BOSCH India Social Engagement. Engaged with designers and developed new design and promoted their products. It motivated us and gave sense of life satisfaction.    Gradually we realized there was a world of people who had a similar vision and so we engaged with terms like 'fair trade', 'ethical', 'sustainable' as a means of connecting to others who share our belief in fundamental human and environmental values. Presently we have latest sewing manufacturing facility at Mohanpura, Block printing set up at Pawalia village and Hand embroidery cluster in more than 10 villages. Having our coordination office at

 Mansarovar, Jaipur, our field  staff is well training to maintain quality standards. In 2018 , We established society for to match our objectives with our entity and journey is still going ahead.

 How we work 

 

We have dedicated team of  Designers, Trainers,  Animators, Coordinators

Animators : Motivate  the  candidates to join cluster which make her able to earn at

                               village

Trainers : Train the candidate and fulfill cluster required skills

Designers : Develop newer designs which help cluster members to get more money

Coordinators : Coordinator coordinates for job work with Industry and  get it

                                 prepared from the cluster.

Production Staff: Coordinate all production related activities

 

 

 

Our Approach 

 

Sample team in consultation with marketing team develop various designs as per current trend and finish the samples.

This goes to marketing team to market the samples and  get orders. 

Marketing team works in 2 modes:

To market own samples

To get Job work orders from the retailers. Presently 6 retailer ie Mansarovar Sikar House, Srajan Handicraft, Satguru Textiles, Sangeeta Cottage Industries, Vasanshi and pithhora.com

To connect the candidates with agents.   Agents like Deepak Meena, Ram Ji lal Sharma,Kajod Mal bairwa are directly connected with the ladies.

During the manufacturing process we do quality checks at each stage:

1. fabric visual check before and after dyeing, color and accuracy check during dyeing or printing
2. measurement and construction check during production
3. after production: visual check of fabric, seams, alignment, overall look, removal of loose threads, accessories check (zips, buttons, labels)
4. packing: final visual check after pressing and during packing
